Opened in April 2025, Mizunuma no Yu offers more than just a bathing experience; it offers fabulous views of Mount Kojin.

The store specializes in Japanese-style souvenirs in Hakone, the setting of "Evangelion (The Third New Tokyo City)". The store also offers a wide variety of limited-edition products using newly-drawn illustrations. Food items such as "Eva Soft" and "L.C.L. Drink" for take-out are also recommended.

Miyagase Lake, which spans three municipalities, has three areas with different attractions (Miyagase Lakeside Area, Toriihara Area, and Dam Site Area), which can be enjoyed for a day while touring around. Each area offers a variety of rides and activities. You can enjoy driving and strolling around the area while taking in the spectacular scenery.

This experience-based themepark is a gateway to the real outdoors, where visitors can experience the attractions of the outdoors through an outdoor BBQ experience. The park is divided into three areas with different concepts: the Tree Land Circle, a symbolic circular promenade deck on the Yokohama Hammerhead Side; the Fire Forest, a glamping experience area making use of the forest on the Goddess Bridge Side; and the Wonder Field, a multipurpose field sandwiched between the two areas. This pool in Moka City， Tochigi Prefecture， is called the Ichimannin Pool because it's so large that 10,000 people (Ichimannin in Japanese) can swim in it. There are seven different types of pools to play in including a 400-meter lazy river， 200 and 150-meter water slides， and a wave pool. The pool is open every day from mid-July to late August. "

This shrine is located within the grounds of Wakamiya Hachimangu in Kawasaki-ku. The sacred body is a metal phallus, also called “Kanamara-sama” ("god of the devilish metal penis"), and is believed to be a guardian deity for both giving birth and illnesses that affect the lower body. A unique mikoshi is paraded at the Kanamara Festival in spring.

A pleasant green waterfront park. On the premises there is the Sail Training Ship Nippon Maru, symbol of Yokohama Port, and the Yokohama Port Museum, where you can learn about the history of Yokohama Port. The first dock, where the Nippon Maru is moored and preserved, is a nationally designated important cultural property, along with the sailing ship itself.

We recommend the Mount Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station as it is lively with lots of gift shops. It is famous for its beautiful view of Lake Kawaguchi. Fuji Subaru is a toll road (Round trip: 2000 yen).

The Kamakura Seaside Park faces the coastlines of Yuigahama Beach and Inamuragasaki. The area is divided into three districts: The Yuigahama area with an open grassy square and playground equipment, the Inamuragasaki area which is a historical site with an observation deck, and the Sakanoshita area which is right by the sea. Loved by many people, the area offers views of Izu Oshima Island and the Izu Peninsula on sunny days. The Inamuragasaki area makes use of the natural geography and has an open grassy lawn where visitors can enjoy beautiful views. In the winter, Mt Fuji is sometimes visible in the background behind views of Enoshima. It is also a designated historical site well known for the legendary story of Nitta Yoshisada’s campaign.

The current Hakone Checkpoint was rebuilt based on the “Report of the Restoration of Sōsyu Hakone Checkpoint in 1865” discovered in 1983, as well as in accordance with findings from excavation and research around the site, and has been open to the public since April 2007. Along with the restoration of the checkpoint buildings, including the main guardhouse, the senior guard lounge, and the foot soldier’s guardhouse, the stone walls and stairs and wooden fences were also restored. Environmental improvements were implemented, such as laying electric cables underground and maintenance of the cedar trees along the road. The museum next to the rebuilt checkpoint exhibits 300 historical items including old documents, checkpoint passes, official bulletin boards, official stamps, checkpoint diaries, and matchlock muskets.Hakone Sekisho was part of the Edo-period road from Tokyo to Kyoto. This checkpoint ensured weapons did not enter Edo (Tokyo) and prevented feudal lords' relatives from fleeing (their wives and children were de facto hostages). Nowadays, it is a good place to see historical buildings along the street.

Home to a number of top international races including the Moto GP, Mobility Resort Motegi also offers a year-round automotive theme park. With minibikes for kids and karts for people of all ages, everyone can experience the thrill of motor racing. The complex also has a nature parks, where you can search for local wildlife or zipline (safely clipped in harnesses) through the trees! Camping sites and other accommodation are available nearby.

The railroad in front of Kamakura High School is a famous site in Slam Dunk.

Hakone-Yumoto Station, the terminal station of the Hakone Romance Car, is the gateway to Hakone. The arcade street in front of the station is lined with many souvenir shops, including specialty traditional sweets, popular confections, and original sundries. WiFi and barrier-free access may vary depending on the store.

This annual summer festival in the Gora Onsen (hot spring) area has been held during the Obon festival period in August since 1921. The highlight is a magnificent collaboration of fireworks and Daimonji-yaki (giant bonfires in the shape of Chinese character "large") lit on Mt. Myojogatake. Enjoying the performance while bathing in a hot spring is an experience not to be missed!

A promenade made by overhauling a dead track used by the former Japan National Railways that opened in 1911. It consists of three bridges connecting the Nihonmaru Memorial Park to the Shinko area. Skyscrapers of the Minatomirai area can be viewed from this 500-meter long boardwalk. Rubblework constructed at the time of the opening of the railways, a US-made railroad bridge and other historical structures are left in their original places. The Unga Park located at the end of Kisha Michi in the Shinko area has a plaza facing the promenade.
