The vast classical Japan garden covering over 175,000 square meters was opened by Hara Sankei, a businessman who made a fortune with the Japanese silk trade. Rinshunkaku, the Three-Storied Pagoda of Old Toumyouji are amongst the properties designated as Important Cultural Properties by the Japanese government. The garden is also a famous viewing spot for plum and cherry blossoms, azaleas, and autumn leaves. This is a fire festival held during Little New Year (around January 14) that has continued since the Edo period. In summer, nine sites are set up on the beach, which is crowded with bathers, and fire is lit to pray for good health and family safety. The festival is designated as an Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan and attracts many people every year. It is said that if you eat dumplings cooked over the fire you will not catch a cold, and if you write your name on a piece of paper that you burned and it flies up high it will make your arms grow longer, and if you take a pine cinder and put it on your roof it will be a charm to ward off fire.

"South No. 4 Classic" café is located on the second floor of the former British Embassy Villa in the British Embassy Villa Memorial Park. From its spacious veranda, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Lake Chuzenji while savoring scones and tea sets supervised by the British Embassy Tokyo's chef. From the second-floor veranda,visitors can enjoy the "picture-perfect scenery" of Lake Chuzenji that Satow loved.

Shirasagi-Tei is a restaurant operated by Cheese Garden, a Western confectionery brand that sells products using cheese. In the open and spacious glass-walled restaurant, you can feel the nature of Nasu as you look through the windows at the garden featuring local flowers and seasonal plants. There, you can also enjoy the changing of the season. Shirasagi-Tei’s recommended dish is Light and Crispy Loin Cutlet. With domestically produced pork, the dish is high in volume but light. Our signature Shirasagi-Tei Special Black Curry over Rice is also a wonderful dish prepared with a lot of time and effort. You will taste the flavor of beef, simmered and soft, concentrated in the curry roux with a hint of spiciness. Next to the restaurant is the main shop of Cheese Garden where you can purchase specialty confectionery.

"Minshuku Hara (inn)" is a Japanese style inn that evokes an old-style Japanese house and is located in a quiet fishing village. They provide fresh and seasonal seafood, such as a striped beak-perch, in a style of ikezukuri (seafood are arranged on a platter that look lifelike). This is the service unique to fishermen's house. Guests can experience making fishermen-style pot meal, tokoroten (jellied agar), and dried seafood. Okami (the proprietress of the inn) was selected as one of the "100 Best Mothers of Farmers, Fisheries, and Inns". It is a one minute walk to get to Mitohama coast.About 1 minute from Mitohama Beach, this is an inn where you can enjoy home-cooked meals made with homegrown vegetables and fresh seafood caught that day by the owner-fisherman. The inn is run by a well-known Okami (landlady) who was the only one in Kanagawa Prefecture to be ranked as one of the Best 100 Okami. In Kamakura, the birthplace of the samurai government, you can experience the city's ancient history along with its changing colours from season to season. The city's historical setting and beautiful seasons are best experienced by riding the local rickshaws.

Approximately 500 cherry trees, including the Yoshino variety, line both banks of the Hikiji River, spanning about 1.3 kilometers. Many people visit when the blossoms are in full bloom, as they form a gorgeous tunnel around the river, making for a picturesque scene.Visit in early April to appreciate the beautiful blossoms.

Izumi-no-mori spreads around the Yamato Suigenchi, the source of the Hikichi River. The park is positioned as the natural core of Yamato City. The wooded area and waterside space form a distinctive ecosystem, making it an ideal place for observing nature.

The former Hirobumi Ito Kanazawa Villa in Nojima Park is a building with a thatched roof built in 1898 by Hirobumi Ito, a man who served as the first Prime Minister of Japan. The villa features views of Hakkeijima and the sea.

The park is located on an island called Nojima at the entrance to Hirakata Bay in the southernmost part of Yokohama City. The area is famous for "Nojima no Sekisho" (a brocade picture depicting a sunset over the fishing village of Nojima)—part of the "Kanazawa Hakkei" (Eight Famous Views of Kanazawa) collection painted by Hiroshige Utagawa, an ukiyoe artist active in the late Edo period. Centered on Mount Nojima, 57m above sea level, the park features a number of facilities such as an observatory, barbecue area, campground, and baseball field, and from the observatory, you can see the sea of Yokohama, Boso Peninsula, and Mount Fuji. Other historical spots include the former Kanazawa residence of Ito Hirobumi, a Yokohama City-designated Tangible Cultural Property, and the Nojima Shell Mound.

It was founded in the early Muromachi period as a branch temple of Kencho-ji Temple in Kamakura, inheriting the remains of Kannondo and Kiyomizu-dera. The Kannondo, the Nio-mon Gate, the Nio Guardians and the ema plates are tangible cultural properties designated by Ebina City. Since it is on a hill, it has a nice view, you can have a nice view of Oyama if the weather is sunny. There are various plants in the precincts, which you can enjoy all year.

It is a cultural facility in Kamakura-shi. The large hall, which has excellent acoustics, has a view of a bamboo forest from the lobby, and also has a buffet that serves food and drinks. It consists of small halls, galleries, meeting places, conference rooms, Japanese rooms and other facilities.

Although the date of Mizoguchi Shrine's founding is unknown, the shrine has a long history and is widely revered as one of the most respected shrines in Kawasaki City, with "Amaterasu," the deity enshrined at the Jingu Shrine in Ise, as its deity. The shrine is known for various benefits such as easy childbirth, child-rearing, match-making, family safety, and protection from bad luck, among others. There are sacred trees related to family in the precincts, including a long-life zelkova tree, a father-and-son camphor tree, and a ginkgo tree with a hanging milk root, which attract many visitors.

TIVOLI is confection maker which opened in November 2017 that produces assorted cookies and boasts the top share in the domestic market. This is their only facility for factory tours and direct retail. The theme is “sweet factory for the five senses.” From the second floor, visitors can observe the staff working and the robots moving nimbly as the sweets are produced. They also offer opportunities for guests to try making their own sweets. Small children can also participate. Guests can also enjoy learning about confection production and eat the freshly baked goodies.

While Enoshima has a strong image of swimming during the summer, a new event with the theme of "Cool Evening" has started and is opened only during a limited time from Mid-July to August 31. During this time, approximately 1000 lanterns will be displayed and you can experience Shonan's breezy summer. Apart from the lanterns, the Enoshima Shinto Shrine will be lit up which will create a dreamy atmosphere.

Founded in 1394 by Soto Zen monk Ryoan Emyo Zenji, this ancient temple is a Soto sect training center renowned as one of the sect's three major prayer temples. Its natural beauty changes with the seasons, with its autumn foliage illuminated at night for seasonal viewing. Prayer services, zazen meditation experiences, and shojin-ryori vegetarian cuisine are available (reservation required). Temple legends feature tengu (mountain bird-like goblins), and the main hall enshrines the world's largest iron geta (wooden clogs).A unique aspect of this temple is its larger than life geta. These wooden sandals are left out for the tengu, winged spirits, that guard the temple grounds. The shoes vary in size, and some are even as tall as humans. Be sure not to miss this popular photography spot!One of the most sacred places in the Kanto region. Zen meditation sessions are held every second and fourth Sunday and Buddhist statue carving lessons every second and fourth Saturday of the month. There are spiritual spot tours around the grounds and other events as well.

We reopened as Yokohama Strawberry Park on April 23rd, 2022, with a new reservation system and only open on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. We allow you to enjoy fresh, delicious strawberries regardless of the season. The strawberries at our facility are carefully grown by people with disabilities under the guidance of strawberry cultivation experts. You can enjoy our strawberry juice and parfait, which both use strawberries harvested at our facility, at our cafe, which can be used without a reservation.
