Miura Beach

The largest and widest beach on the Miura Peninsula is close to the station, and during peak season it is crowded with many beachgoers, including families. In August, the "Miura Kaigan Noryo Matsuri Fireworks Festival" is held, and every year hundreds of thousands of tourists are intoxicated by the large flowers that color the summer night sky. With Tsukui Beach to the north and Kikuna Beach to the south, it is the largest beach on the Tokyo Bay side of the Miura Peninsula.

Arai Castle Ruins Park

Surrounded by bamboo groves, this quiet park is a place for relaxation. In spring, a weeping cherry blossom party is held when the trees are in bloom. The contrast of pink and green during the day and the weeping cherry blossoms illuminated at night are fantastic. The trees are usually illuminated in late March or early April. Please check before you go.The weeping cherry blossoms are usually lit up from late March to early April. We recommend that you check before visiting.

Mizonokuchi Shrine

Mizonokuchi Shrine

Although the date of Mizoguchi Shrine's founding is unknown, the shrine has a long history and is widely revered as one of the most respected shrines in Kawasaki City, with "Amaterasu," the deity enshrined at the Jingu Shrine in Ise, as its deity. The shrine is known for various benefits such as easy childbirth, child-rearing, match-making, family safety, and protection from bad luck, among others. There are sacred trees related to family in the precincts, including a long-life zelkova tree, a father-and-son camphor tree, and a ginkgo tree with a hanging milk root, which attract many visitors.
