Within the national park, there is a cable car that connects the shore of Lake Ashi to the summit of Mt. Komagatake over a total distance of 1,783 m. The cable car takes about seven minutes each way. From the summit of Mt. Komagatake, you can enjoy uninterrupted views of Hakone that centers on Lake Ashi and can see the magnificent Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps beyond it. Also, the 360-degree panorama that boasts a unique view of Hakone, overlooks Suruga Bay to Izu Islands, Sagami Bay to Shonan Beach, along with Tokyo Sky Tree and the Boso Peninsula. It is a place where you can experience seasonal flowers and plants, wild birds and insects, and the breath of nature.At the top, prepare yourself for one of the most stunning views of Mt. Fuji you will ever see. Also great 360 degree views of Sagami Bay and the entire Hakone region. Winter can be cold, but the skies are crystal clear.From the top of Mt. Komagatake, the panoramic view of Hakone centers on Lake Ashinoko. And to the northwest is magnificent Mt. Fuji. In the distance, you can see from Suruga Bay to the Izu Islands, the Shonan Coast, and the Boso Peninsula.

This shrine was founded in 710 (Wado 3) by famous priest Gyoki and constructed by Tokitada Someya, a powerful and rich man. It is dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu. Minamoto no Yoriyoshi prayed to this shrine and his son, Minamoto no Yoshiie was born here. Founder and the first shogun of the Kamakura Shogunate, Minamoto no Yoritomo, his wife, Masako, a political leader, and their son, Minamoto no Sanetomo also worships this shrine. Here, you can find the well used for Tokimune Hojo’s (regent of the shogun) first bath and said to be Marquis Nijo’s favourite well. There is also an Man’yōshū (collection of Japanese poetry) inscription originating from the rear mountain named Mikoshiyama Mountain. This place also appears in the novel “The Sound of the Mountain” by Yasunari Kawabata.The greenery enveloping the worship hall and the straight, symbolic shrine path is lit up, creating a mystic and sublime atmosphere that beckons visitors.

The name derives from the fact that the Italian consulate was located here during the Meiji period. One can view the verdant Yamate area from the lookout on the hill. The shrine has been widely loved by local people as "Iizuna Incarnation of Sagami" since the olden days. The head shrine is Iizuna Shrine in Nagano Prefecture. The shrine ground lead into Zama Park, which is famous for cherry blossoms. You can enjoy a spectacular view of Oyama, Tanzawa, and Hakone mountains over the cherry trees.

This mountain is located on the border of Yugawara and Hakone, allowing a magnificent view of Mount Fuji and Lake Ashinoko. It is named after the famous Japanese painter of pre-World War II Japanese art, Taikan Yokoyama, who was said to love painting Mount Fuji.The panoramic view of the setting sun and Lake Ashi in the direction of Mt. Fuji is superb.

The shrine enshrines Okuninushi no Mikoto, the deity of Izumo Taisha, Shimane Prefecture. It formally became a branch of the Izumo Taisha sect in 1888. It has a unique wooden shrine building that combines Taisha-zukuri and Gongen-zukuri styles and features a long hall called the "Winged Hall". The shrine itself is known as the "Izumo of Kanto" and features the 1,000-year-old zelkova tree, which towers over the grounds rich in nature, and the famous Hadano spring. The Yuzuri no Mizu (Yuzuri Water) drawn from 50m below the forest is also very popular among visitors (it is drinkable, and health inspections are carried out yearly). Seasonal events are often held, and many worshippers come throughout the year, as well as visitors for Goshuin (shrine stamps). (Free parking available for up to 130 cars. This dam is situated in the northwestern part of the prefecture, near Higashitanzawa and is the largest gravitational concrete dam in the Greater Tokyo Area. There is a 6 minute long release of water from April through November, every Wednesday, the second and fourth Friday of the month, and every second Sunday of the month. It is done at 11 o'clock and 2 o'clock past noon.

There is said to be a stone pagoda which was made into the tomb of Minamoto no Yoritomo near the site of Hokkedo (tomb hall), with the remains of Hokkedo also found in the vicinity. Together they are designated as a National Historic Site.

The Miura-Kaigan Noryo Festival Fireworks Display is a summer tradition held every year on the Miura Peninsula in early August. The venue, Miura Beach, is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Miurakaigan Station on the Keihin Kyuko Line. Visitors can sit on the vast sandy beach and look up at the fireworks in a relaxing and open setting. The underwater fireworks, nicknamed "underwater peacocks," are launched from a barge and are a spectacular sight sure to wow. The colorful lights brightly illuminate the surface of the sea.

You will walk on the road along the mountain fields. From Kotakuji Onsen, you will walk on the forest trail and see the impressive waterfall, Ogama Benzaiten, and then enter the mountain trail. After passing the curved path, you will hike up a ridge that ascends 400 meters of Hinata-yama.
