Sakura city is known both for "Ujō Noguchi" retro-styled buildings in the shopping center and the “satoyama” scenery characterized by farms and mountains. In addition to restaurants and farmers' markets, it’s popular for "Bihada-no-yu" hot springs which are said to beautify the skin.

Nasuben is a locally produced and locally consumed lunch set that condenses the good tastes of Nasu Kogen. In reference to the legend of the nine-tailed fox， a well-known story in Nasu， the lunch comprises nine ingredients served in nine separate dishes on a tray specially made from Nasu cedar. Featuring different cuisine at every store. In 2014 “Nasuben” won the grand prize for local production and consumption of Tochigi Prefecture. You can try the famous lunch plate for 1500 Yen at Nasu."

Located just a stone’s throw from the bridge sits one of Kinugawa’s Furukama-no-taki. It’s not one of the popular， roaring waterfalls that Nikko is known for but rather a natural secret tip， lush， calm， and green."

The dramatic scenery of Matsuki Valley was created when wildfires and smoke from the Ashio Copper Mine caused the area's vegetation to die off， exposing the sandy stone surface underneath. Today， the rugged rock surfaces and steep cliffs have led to some calling it the "Grand Canyon of Japan." In winter， you may even see the Shirayuki waterfall frozen solid."

This 45-meter waterfall is located along the Arasawa River， a tributary of the Daiya River. It is considered one of the three best waterfalls in Nikko， along with Kegon Falls and Kirifuri Falls. Urami Falls was written about by Matsuo Basho， a famous poet of the Edo period (1603-1867)."

Moka City boasts the largest strawberry production in Japan. At Igashira Kanko Strawberry Farm, you can eat as many ripe, sweet strawberries as you like for 60 minutes. There are two varieties of strawberries: "Tochiotome," which has a good balance of sweetness and sourness, and "Tochi-Aika," which has little sourness and stands out for its sweetness. Enjoy your fill of fresh, delicious strawberries that are unique to this producing area. *You cannot choose the variety. *Reservations required for groups *Entry may be restricted depending on circumstances   In addition, the neighboring "Agurikko" sells fresh, freshly picked agricultural products all year round. Recommended products are fully ripe strawberries (January to May) and melons (May to June) from winter to spring, corn in summer, and pears and rice in autumn.

Moka Momen is a traditional fabric made in Moka City， which is so smooth to the skin that it resembles silk. It reached the height of its popularity during the late Edo period， but the work to create it， from cultivating cotton to spinning， dyeing， and weaving fabric， has been inherited by the Moka Momen Kaikan where even today it is all performed by hand just as it was long ago. In addition to fabric for kimonos， items perfect for everyday use are also produced.

This is a sensational event held at the Kinugawa Riverbed Ryokuchi Park in late August， where shakudama (approx 30 cm)  fireworks shells launched into the air seem so close you feel like you could reach out and touch them.

An outlet shopping centre showcasing fashion， sports & outdoors and lifestyle brands. Food courts， cafés and restaurants are on hand for when you need a break. Expanded in the summer of 2012， the mall houses 148 stores. Situated near the IC， the free shuttle bus runs a regular service between Nasu-Shiobara station and the shopping centre. Building No. 2 features exhibits of retro stationery and toys, and also has a shop selling dagashi. Famous for its “Warehouse Town” scenery, Tochigi City hosts the Mt. Ohira Cherry Blossom Festival in early April. Located west of the city, Mt. Ohira is covered with about 4,000 cherry trees, forming a spectacular 2-kilometer-long tunnel of blossoms along the sightseeing road from the foot of the mountain. On the opposite side of the summit, the Kenshin-daira Observatory offers panoramic views of the Kanto Plain’s picturesque rural landscapes. On clear days, you can even see Tokyo Skytree and Mt. Fuji. Nearby eateries serve Mt. Ohira’s three famous specialties—rice dumplings, grilled chicken skewers, and rolled omelets—providing a feast for both the eyes and taste buds. At the foot of Mt. Ohira stands Taisan-ji, an ancient Shingon Buddhist temple. Its grounds are home to a 360-year-old weeping cherry tree, said to have been planted by the mother of Tokugawa Ietsuna, the fourth shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate. A traditional Japanese house built over 170 years ago has been relocated to the Kurobane Furusato Bussan Center. This building with a thatched roof houses Kurashi no Yakata and a restaurant. At the restaurant, ‘Oroshi Soba ― Yamizo Asagiri hand-picked soba ―’ is one of the popular menu items made with locally produced buckwheat flour. Adjacent to the restaurant is the Bussan Center. There, you can buy delicious vegetables produced by local farmers and steamed buns made with love. They also sell additive-free homemade miso called Ginjo Ichinen Miso. It is popular because miso soup made with this miso in the morning stays tasty until night.

At Nikko Senhime Monogatari, you can enjoy the view of Nikko’s nature from the guest rooms. The view is spectacular: mountains turn light green in spring, cool breezes sweep across the river in summer, an explosion of yellow and red creates a beautiful mountain view in fall, and the view of the mountains and river as if covered by a snow-white wedding dress brings you peace of mind in winter. This public hot spring facility in Kinugawa Park is popular with tourists and locals alike. It features men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor baths where visitors enjoy its soft alkaline water. It’s spacious and airy outdoor stone bath lets guests luxuriate while taking in bird song and the seasonal scenery. There is also a restaurant and a lounge for guests to unwind after the bath."

Ryuzu Falls cascades 210 metres down 10-metre wide terraces of volcanic rock from a historic eruption of Mount Nantai. The name “Ryuzu” (dragon’s head) comes from the presence at the base of the falls where a huge rock splits the waterfall in two. The area is popular for its stunning views of red and purple azalea blossoms from May to June as well as the autumnal red leaves in late September. The viewing platform offers the best view of the waterfall surrounded by the colours of the season. Ryuzu Falls is a popular location for visitors and is known as one of the five best falls in Nikko，along with Kegon Falls，Kirifuri Falls，Urami Falls， and Yudaki Falls.

Nasu World Monkey Park is a monkey theme park with over 60 different types of rare monkeys from around the world. The plaza where guests can hold and take photos with the cute and rare monkeys is extremely popular. In addition to a petting area， there’s a “monkey theater” with variety shows featuring monkeys. And an “elephant forest” where visitors can ride elephants， along with many other experiences. You’ll also find restaurants that provide various Asian cuisine and shops that sell monkey-themed goods."

The Tochigi Prefectural Museum in Utsunomiya City is located in Tochigi Central Park and collects， preserves， and researches materials relating to Tochigi's nature and culture. This museum was opened as a general museum aimed at deepening understanding of Tochigi's nature and culture in October of 1982. The 72m spiral slope flora and fauna of Nikko， Tochigi's most famous area， exhibit is a site to see.The exhibition displays the animals in order of elevation and environment from the 600m elevation of the area around the Shinkyo Bridge to the 2578m elevation of the peak of Mt. Shirane. The exhibition rooms introduce the history of Tochigi from its geological age to the present， with themes on each era in chronological order， making the history easy to understand.The museum also hosts a variety of other themed exhibitions and planned exhibits as well as exhibits on nature， geology， plants and animal introductions."

This park surrounds Nikko Suginamikimichi， the world's longest tree-lined street. In the park， there is an old-fashioned water mill once used in the production of incense sticks for which the area is well-known， and a traditional wooden farmhouse from 1830."
